A few comments from people in the industry who have tried FrameShots to capture video frames:

Great little program Odie. I tried it out. I like it cause you can take quick snapshots of wmv files. I try and sometimes look for good frames within wmv files and it's a pain using other programs.

One of the most helpful tools I have found the last year. Especially the fact that it removes the black edges and can save a user specified number of frames to the hard disk AND you can select the compression method is without match...You just can't imagine how much time it saves me.

I'm quite excited, because I've been looking for a solution like this for awhile and it was needed! :-)

I always used BSplayer to take snapshots and JPEG resizer to batch resize all the images..... this is a very handy tool indeed... that 'automated' feature of taking a snapshot (and saving it) every X frames/seconds would be incredible! (because virtualdub has such a similar feature, but it just saves all the frames, and in the bulky bmp format.... so ya get a few gigs images for just one moviefile.)
Thx for this very useful app Odie!

I DL'ed it last nite and its a godsend dude...its a great lil tool to make VirtualDub look like a old and out of date dubber.

Excellent AVI thumbnail maker Odie! I've been looking for good video screen capture software like this for a long time. I'll keep taking my video snapshots and you keep on making some great frame capture software!
